Jennyvic Ditto of Wildcard
I have to be charitable about Ditto. She really is a little star. Her dad is my brother, Toby, Yardican King of Diamonds. Toby now lives in the Orkney islands. So Ditto is a granddaughter of my mother, Champion Yardican Diamond Drop. Maggie's offspring have produced numerous champions in Scandanavia. They are putting together a tribute to Maggie to celebrate her tenth birthday on 11th September 2011.
So Ditto has a fantastic pedigree. Her mother, Bumble, Gowerston Blue Bell of Jennyvic, is a sister of Ace - Gowerston Justin Time and also sister of Champion Gowerston Jazz Singer. He, Jazz Singer, is the dad of Champion Bymil Picture This, Sarah Taylor's very special, Ina, most successful Cardigan corgi of the moment!
Margo Hackney, Maggie's owner, knew straight away that Ditto was something special. Immediately Ditto arrived with us my owner started training her for showing.
Ditto's training
Ditto started off straightaway learning to stand on a table. The golf greenkeepers made her little blocks to stand on. Ditto is such a show off that we found her out in the garden on a picnic table. If that was me I would be in trouble but Ditto can do anything.
Margo came with Maggie, and Ditto practised in a squash court - up and down on the special mat. Up on the table. All ready for Crufts. I told Ditto that DFS Crufts stood for Ditto for Sale. Ha, ha!

I have to say that Ditto is doing really well. Her first show was at Huntingdon just three days after she was 6 months old. She came back with rosettes and one said Puppy Group 2. Margo seemed very pleased and the rosette is on the kitchen curtain.

Ditto's wins
Eastern Counties We went to Newmarket and Ditto won best bitch, even though she is so young. She was reserve best of breed and best puppy in show. Yes she beat off the Pembrokes! Hoorah! And she came back with a cup. Our cleaning lady polishes it lots. Pooh!
Manchester  Ditto was best puppy in the breed and also was fourth in a huge group of puppies in Puppy Stakes. I did laugh when she was followed round the ring by a huge Dulux dog. They were all so huge and she looked tiny!
Other wins  Ditto was also best puppy at Midland Welsh Corgi Show and at West of England Welsh Corgi Show.
