What a lovely day!
Well my owner and I had a really great day manning the Cardigan Corgi Stand at Discover Dogs. The Corgi people seem to like me doing it because I am really good with children and let them play with my ears and have their photos taken with me. After coping with Edward Scissorpaws, the cat, small children are a doddle. The show was really good. My owner did photos of me with 38 children and we sent off their photos and CDs. One of my pals on the stand was Millie who is a lovely blue merle puppy - just 8 months old.

Here are my pals at Discover Dogs.
Millie has one blue eye and one brown. I think that is really cute. But the exciting thing is that I am hoping to have puppies next spring and Sky's brother, called Ace, should be their daddy. Ace is really handsome, a lovely blue merle who walks like a real champion. He didn't go to Discover Dogs. I think they thought it would be better to have three sweet little girls like us rather than a bossy boy. I will keep you in touch with the possible puppies.

Thank you Royal Canin
We were each given a splendid goodie bag for being good girls on the Discover Dog stand. I got a bright red bag, a fantastic Royal Canin towel, a really posh new bowl and some munchies and biscuits. I did a wicked thing and told Edward and Sophie, my cats, and Barney, my golden retriever friend, that I had won them at the show. My owner says golfers do that all the time and win things at raffles and pretend they won them for playing well. Now I'm a golfer I do the same!
Wildcard - our Kennel name
My owner has registered a special Kennel name for us. Our Kennel name is Wildcard! That means all my puppies will have names starting with Wildcard. I have a horrid feeling she will name any boy puppies after famous golfers - Wildcard Watson, Wildcard Woosnam, Wildcard Westwood and Wildcard Woods. Not if I have my say!

You are a Cardigan corgi
The most exciting thing at Discover Dogs was that a boy came on the site with his puppy that had been rescued from Border Collie Rescue as a collie/corgi cross. His mum asked if the puppy had any Cardigan Corgi in it. Our Corgi Association Chairman told her that the puppy was a pure bred Cardigan corgi and a very smart one too. By the end of the day she had discovered that the puppy's dad is an American Champion, Kennebec Jolly Roger and that the mum, Polly, is another real star. We even got the photos of the puppy aged 2 days and again 7 weeks old and were able to tell him the puppy had a birthday of February 14th - Valentine's day. So, not a collie cross but a very grand little puppy with a star family background. What a success for Discover Dogs! Here's her picture!
